Another Superbrands for Barlinek!
On 5 April, Warsaw played host to the Superbrands awards, presented to the best brands present on the Polish market. Once again Barlinek was amongst those awarded, this time with the title Superbrands Created in Poland 2013.
Superbrands Created in Poland is a new category in this competition, honouring those brands which originated in Poland. The title is awarded on the basis of a consumer survey carried out by GFK Polonia on a sample of 15,000 people. The respondents indicated which brands with a Polish background they knew and most recommended. The wooden floor manufacturer Barlinek received above average results in this survey, becoming one of those declared Superbrands Created in Poland 2013.
"The Superbrands 2013 Created in Poland title awarded to the brand is testimony to its place among the elite group of Poles' favourite Polish brands," says Monika Kowalewska, Project Director of Superbrands Polska.This is Barlinek's second Superbrands title. Last year the competition's organisers, based on consumer surveys and the opinions of experts from the Brand Council awarded Barlinek the title of Superbrands 2012.
The international organisation Superbrands Ltd. currently operates in 87 countries. For over 17 years it has been awarding the title of Superbrands, which is a prestigious honour for marketing departments, consistently building up the strength of a brand. Altogether 21 Superbrands Created in Poland titles were awarded, and representatives of 27 brands picked up Superbrands and Business Superbrands statuettes.
